2 installs failed to complete and now we're told the Cox box outside is bad and sending weak signals...

We scheduled internet install Saturday the 31st of August.  Tech said he wanted our HOA letter of authorization to put a cable across two other condos.  He refused, flat out to even wait 10 minutes while we got the letter.  We had the letter in hand as he actually drove away.  Scheduled again...over a week later.  This guy ran the line from the main box outside, then to our unit.  Said signal is too weak and that cox would need to come out and replace this box.

Cox doesn't seem to know if it's done or not, then a CSR told me 8 to 9 weeks?  WHAT!?!?!?

I need some help here, this isn't ok.  Why do we have to wait for these guys to get their act together and maintain their equipment?  8-9 weeks for them to drive maybe 5 miles.

myself, my 3 kids and my lady have no cable, no internet....

the live chat agents won't help, CSR put me on hold while she tried to understand this.  i asked for a supervisor.  i was on hold 15 more minutes and gave up.  HELP!
