Thread still looks open to me. Can you answer my question?
As for your phone, what settings are you using? I would suggest these settings. Also make sure no other devices are set up with her email address using POP3.
::Edit:: Had wrong link. Corrected and pasting from link.

Yep. Still open. Turns out they send you an email that gives you a panic button to "unselect" an answer. If I had waited a few more minutes, I might have discovered that before starting a new thread.
I tried the "new" settings and they don't work either. In order to change the imap and smtp settings, I had to go past a couple of error boxes that say the username or password is wrong. Then into "Advanced." On that page the settings look right. Then you go back one page and select "SMTP," and then the topmost "smtp.cox.net" (there are several other smtp severs listed here, most of which are smtp.cox.net). At this point the only thing that doesn't match is the port number. When I change it to 465 and hit "done," I get an error box that says server smtp.cox.net on port 465 timed out.
But thanks for trying.
I think the answer to your question is that I first used the default settings that the iphone had, then I used the settings from your earlier message (which were quite a bit different), and then I used the latest settings from this message (which varied from the defaults only at the SMTP port number). None of them have worked so far.
