"WiFi 6" is just rebranding WiFi because, I suppose, consumers couldn't distinguish the different 802.11 letters.
WiFi 6 (802.11ax) has a theoretical max speed of 9.6 Gbps compared to 3.5 Gbps for WiFi 5 (802.11ac). Real world, however, its download speed is a fraction of the maximum.
Unless the Panoramic supports 1024 QAM, MU-MIMO and OFDMA...it's WiFi 5.
If OP wants a WiFi 6 network, OP needs a WiFi 6 router.
However, a "problem" with WiFi 6 is it uses the same frequencies as a dual-band -ac router (Panoramic), so all its features to combat congestion and walls are still using the same congested frequencies.
Here we go with the letters again. WiFi 6E adds a 3rd frequency (6 GHz) so if you wanted a WiFi 6 network, I'd at least start at 6E.
