Suddenly getting "no internet connection" icon while I'm on the internet

Today, out of the blue, while I'm on the internet, a new icon I've never seen before appears in the taskbar to let me know there is no internet connection. I'll reboot my computer and it goes away, but after a while, it comes back. I check to see if there's an outage on my Spectrum acct. and it says there isn't. Ever since Spectrum took over, there have been issues w/the tv svcs. I was told by tech support they saw something unusual regarding the modem/router (which we had just gotten from Cox a couple of weeks before Spectrum took over). They wanted to send out a tech. I reset the main DVR box from the website and that resolved the issue. Now I'm having to reset the modem/router to see if the intermittent "no internet connection" gets resolved. Is anyone else experiencing this issue in RI?
