Cox remote
We have the Contour 2 voice remote with the Contour box. When looking at the guide, flipping [page up] and [page down] it seems to only flip through 3 channels at a time. I just acquired a Vizio M65 - E0 TV, none of the pairing codes work with the Contour 2 remote (my former TV, Sharp, paired perfectly as does my current stereo receiver). My LG died. I replaced it with a Samsung (4K) UHD 49 inch 7000 series. The Cox remote lets me access my recorded content, and turns on the cable box. It allows me to fast forward/rewind. However, it does not respond to any non-cable commands such as power and mute/volume. I have tried all the codes listed on Cox.com as well as several universal codes with zero luck. channels cannot be selected
I have a few channels where I can't enter the channel number on the remote without the channel defaulting to 5. Among them here in RI are 94/1094 (Fox Business) & 47/1047(MSNBC). In each case I have to enter a channel number above or below and then arrow up or down to the desired channel. Before getting a cable box with DVR I could re-scan channels but now that's only possible with mini boxes. Resetting the cable box doesn't change anything. How do I fix it?1.8KViews0likes1Comment
