Cox available in my zip code, but not at my address. Can lines be ran or can I pay for lines to ran?
Moving from the city to our new home in a more rural setting of KS. Cox is available in my zip code in a town a few minutes away, but not to the street address of my new home. Is it possible to have lines ran to my address? I had filled out a form recently that was to check if this was a possibility but have not heard back. (was about 10-15 business days ago). Even if running the lines came with a cost I would be willing to discuss. Would just need to know who to contact. Thanks,370Views0likes1CommentPointless Fee for moving?
So, let me get this straight. I already have service with you guys. I moved to a new place. Already wired and ready to go. I go through the "Move my Service" process, choose date, confirm. I take my current existing modem, plug it in. Everything works, a 5 second process. (maybe 6 or 7, twisting the coax to the wall was a lot of twisting!) I get charged a $20 "Internet Self Activation Kit" Fee. Seriously? I didn't get no Self Activation Kit (not like I needed it in the first place, already had my own modem from my ALREADY CURRENT ACTIVE service). No Technician had to come and turn on the service at the pole or anything (service has been setup and active here). I only plugged the wire in to the wall, powered on the modem, and was on the way.2KViews1like1CommentKeeping my email - I have had it for 10 years
I am moving into an area that does not have Cox. I have had the same email address for more than 10 years. Countless people, businesses have it. There is no way I will be successful in remembering everyone I have to notify. Is there a way to forward emails from this disconnected email account to my new email address?1.7KViews0likes3CommentsTransfer account
I am moving to Texas where I don't plan on having Cox. I want to transfer the account I have in my name to my roommate (we share it anyway), however, I don't have a phone. How can I get this done? Or shall I just cancel the account and let him start a new one? I don't want him to have to pay that start-up cost when it's already working.10KViews0likes3Comments
