Contour Recording
Sent a post regarding Contour 1 box not recording a program when it was in fact programmed to do so. To add, I was either recording only one other show - or possibly no other show - at the time of the failed recording recording. So either two or three tuners active at the time the program failed to record. Again, never made it to the "Recorded" Programs list: stayed on the "Scheduled" recording list even though the Program Guide displayed the "recording" red ball. Just a plain failure of the Contour 1 box to record? And might have misshaped the initial post's tag. Should have been Contour DVR.1.1KViews0likes1CommentDVR 'resume' feature
In the past I have been able to begin watching a show on one TV then move to another location and complete watching the show from the other TV by selecting "resume" on the recording. Lately this feature is seldom available and the only way I can NOW move from living room to bed room (for example) to finish watching a baseball game is to make a note of where the game is at time wize then fast forward to that point to continue watching. Why is the resume feature no longer available? FOLLOW UP QUESTION: iS THIS REALLY THE BEST YOU CAN DO FOR NEARLY 250.00 PER MONTH?1.2KViews0likes1Comment
Contour DVR not recording whole show
When playing a recorded show, it stops short - say 30 min into an hour show and asks the question about deleting it. The show was recorded using the guide and showed adequate time allowed. This happens about once per week. Repeated attempts to view show have same result. I have contour with cisco DVR.2.4KViews0likes1Comment
Contour - See which shows have been viewed in DVR
With our old DVR, when we started watching a show, it would get greyed out in the DVR list. This way we knew we had watched that particular program. This was nice if I had 7 recordings of the same show, I knew which ones had been watched and my roommates could also kinda keep track of what was watched (for deletion purposes). On Contour, the show always stays the same font. The only way I've found to be able to manage shows is to delete them as soon as I watch them.
