Webmail access for new users
I just added 4 additional user ID's for family on my Cox account. These user ID's were just deleted from my parents' closed account because they moved outside the Cox service area, and the user ID's were added as secondary users on my active account. Everything seems to work as expected for a secondary user except for webmail. The email service as IMAP email is working. We have verified that all 4 users can send and receive messages using Outlook 2016, but after they sign into the Cox website, they only see the page below when they try to access webmail. Is there normally a delay for webmail access to be established for a new user ID, or is this a technical issue that requires further technical support?7.6KViews0likes16Comments
Email issues with deleting off server from phone
I need help please. Ever since the migration to the new email platform my emails are not being deleted from the server when deleted from my trash folder on my phone. It doesn't matter whether I set up my email as POP or Imap. This is causing issues as I have had my email for nearly 20-years and get a ridiculous amount of junk email (would take too long to unsubscribe to every single mailing list) and having to go into webmail to truly delete them is the most painful thing ever as no matter how long I wait only 50-200 emails are ever pulled up in my trash folder and you are talking a good hour to delete a months worth (7,000) plus emails from my trash folder., trying to right click and empty folder doesn't seem to work either unless under 1,000 in my folder. I really wish cox left well enough alone as the new email just stinks and is painfully slow to do anything. At any rate how (if there is a way) can I get emails to delete from the server automatically after deletion from my phones trash folder....or is there a way to automatically set cox email to purge the trash folder at regular intervals so that I don't have to manually do it?7.1KViews0likes5Comments
500 Servlet Exception in Webmail
For the past week or so, more often than not when I try check my email on the Cox webmail page, I get a 500 Servlet Exception. Now I'm trying to find some information for tax purposes, and I can't access the email that it's contained in. Please fix this. Thanks.4.7KViews0likes1Comment
Webmail Classic vs. Enhanced
I really like the Enhanced Webmail but when it comes to writing an e-mail the Enhanced does not let you back track like everywhere else does. What you have to do is highlight and retype everything you have already typed already. Blank screen on Webmail
As tends to happen at some point virtually every weekday between around 11 AM and 1 PM, Webmail is giving me a blank screen when I go to check it. The fact that it generally goes back to normal within a few minutes does not in any way change the fact that it's highly irritating to have to go without email access when I'm waiting for replies.3.5KViews0likes1CommentEmail problem
Been having problems sending emails for several weeks. After I compose an email, I hit the SEND button and the mail area of the display goes blank. I still have all the buttons (send, compose, etc.) and all my folders show up on the left side, but where you would read or compose an email, its just white space. I can go back to the INBOX or any folder and everything is displayed. When I look in the SENT folder the email I tried to send is not there. The other thing I noticed is that when I select the ADDRESSES button, I also get a blank screen - nothing comes up. SO, I can no longer send emails. andriod email
Recently I had to change my webmail password. Ever since then I can't access cox mail on my andriod phone with verizon. Verizon said it's a COX issue. It will not sign on sayinf that the user name and password do not match. I can sign on everywhere else, except on my phone. Anyone else having this trouble and know of a solution.
