I have used the STARZ app for a couple years now by logging in through Cox Internet via various devices (Android TV, Amazon Fire TV). Today I got the message “The user is currently already connected to a known proxy” when I tried to log on. What does this mean? I'm not even asking anyone to tell me what's wrong or how to fix the problem. Please just explain the error message.2.9KViews0likes0CommentsRecently forced to port forward from the website. An update at some point in the last few days made it so I could not port forward from my router, forcing me to log into the Cox site to make changes. When I try to to do so there it keeps telling me "We're Having Some Trouble". I have restarted my gateway and the problem persists. Is there a way to revert back to being able to make changes directly on the router? This is causing me a big headache since the forwarding settings for the device I was hosting a server on were deleted and I cannot restore them due to this change.796Views0likes1CommentTivo Bolt v53 error

I just replaced my Arris SB6183 with a Netgear CM600 to try to resolve disconnect issues and to get 24 downstream channels. My net connection is significantly slower now. The Netgear website says Cox has approved firmware version 1.01.14. Mine has V1.01.06 installed. I called cox and the tech said they couldn't install firmware. She sent signals to the modem, but it didn't do anything. I'm the errors below with both modems. Can Cox update the firmware in CM600, or should I go back to the Arris and live with disconnects? When I try to mark the 20-30 daily spam emails as spam I get an error message that reads “The message you requested is unavailable. It may already have been deleted or moved from this folder.” I actually get that message when I try to delete a message as well. Also, I don’t think the SPAM FILTER is working at all. I have two issues, not sure if they're connected. 1. My email has quit arriving in Outlook altogether. I used to have one or two drop out one or two show as being unread, but not in my inbox. I could read them on my webmail. I assumed tht was the IMAP problem. Now I've quit getting any emails altogether. 2. I get emails on webmail, but now I can't forward or send new messages from webmail. I get the following message: Certificate has been revoked. The application will not be executed. I'm getting "Temporarily off air messages" on several channels including Syfy, National Geographic and now TCM. These seem to occur about three hours after I turn on the channel. I caught the message coming on when I was recording something and it asked me to press a confirm button then went to the message. I've tried resetting the cable box and that doesn't work. If I change channels and return, the message goes off, but it's a nuisance if I have to get up at three in the morning to do this if I'm recording something I want to watch the next day.2.2KViews0likes1CommentChannel Not Available Error Message on Contour Box
Some days when I turn of the DVR and TV, I see a big error message saying that there is no signal on the current channel. All I have to do is change the channel and then go back to the original channel to see that it is present and transmitting. This occurs intermittently and it is not related to what channel is tuned - it occurs for the main network HD channels. All I can figure is that the Contour box is "giving up" at some time overnight on the channel. The box has been turned off the night before - so it is not sitting on unattended. I wouldn't care except that I suspect that this is causing problems with my Onkyo receiver which is shutting down the HDMI pass-through support when the Contour box "loses" the signal. Any explanation of why this is occurring? I have not experienced any TV outages when watching TV. This only seems to happen overnight when the TV is not being used. David14KViews0likes14Comments
