Problem solved for me in Tulsa, for now anyway. Re: NBCSN has had choppy/jerky video for about three weeks on myTV. I only watch live events on NBCSN so I'm not sure if taped shows have the same issue. But here's something that I just remembered, if it makes a difference. The last NASCAR race of the season was shown live on both NBC and NBCSN. I watched it on both channels and NBC was just fine. It was only NBCSN where it was choppy. Re: NBCSN has had choppy/jerky video for about three weeks on myTV. Hey Kevin, I can speak for my issue. I only have one receiver in my home but I had it replaced a couple of weeks ago and it did not fix it. There is not one certain time of the day that it happens, it happens any time of the day. It's more noticeable during sports shows where the view is on wide shots and the action moves like hockey, racing, or soccer. The close up shots like talk shows are far less noticeable. NBCSN has had choppy/jerky video for about three weeks on myTV. Technician was out last week and replaced my cable box but that did not fix it. Hockey and racing was the worse I guess due to the speed of the camera action. Hockey and racing on my other channels are just fine. It's just NBCSN Re: skip channels I'm not sure if this is related but on the channels that have duplicate numbers like ESPN (1025/1300) you have to have both channel numbers unchecked to be able to see them on your guide. Having one checked and one not will not work. This is the opposite problem you are having but it might be related. You might want to see if the channels that you are having trouble with don't have duplicate numbers. Re: Problem Skipping Channels Option Okay Colleen. That makes sense. Thanks for responding. Re: Problem Skipping Channels Option I live in Tulsa. I sent an email to Cox Support and they wanted to dispatch a technician. I told them that others are having the same issue so I didn't think that would fix my issue. It sounds like more of a system wide issue. This is just happening for the duplicate HD channels such as 1025/1300 1041/1463. I have all my SD channels checked and that does not create an issue. Re: Problem Skipping Channels Option I'm having the same trouble. If I check skip on ESPN 1025 it will also show skipped on 1300. What is the purpose of TV essential lineup? What does even mean? If it's duplicate HD channels then why have it?
