This service is supposed to be "free / included" with our internet packages...... That said, WHY IN THE F do I continue, to this day to get a message to renew the service. Way back then I had to wait around while someone remoted into my computer to fix it. I am NOT doing that again. WHY does this BS continue to happen...... we are paying for it / being included with our stuff.... And no, do not come and tell me to change to something else.... AVG or whatever..... if I wanted to change, I would just do it. Issue is this is supposed to be included, and SHOULD work, without uninstalling / reinstalling the software for what people are paying..... It was bad enough I got the run around so badly with my modem, that I finally went and bought my own because I was so pissed off at tech support and the staff at the location I go to / USED to go to.... Re: "Your subscription to McAfee VirusScan Expires soon...." And how does one do that....? When I go to the McAfee site, there is no place to create an account. Only places to "log in" which I cannot do, because I have no account there under my cox email account. When I go there via the Cox site, it has 636_xxx@cox.net which other then the 636, is correct, but again, I cannot do anything at that point. I can right click on the McAfee icon and it will verify I have an active subscription, but this stupid Windows Defender Notification will not go away, because it still thinks its expiring.... I have had this come up like 10 times since I have installed the software on my laptop, and I am sick of reinstalling the software because something is broken. I cannot log into McAfee because I do not have a valid account it says. When I try to go there from Cox, it puts a 636 in front of my email address, thus the address is wrong. Security Suite Hello, I have installed / uninstalled / reinstalled Mcafee multiple times, tried updating the info on the "my profile" section in the Security Suite section, and I am still having issues, and for what I pay for the service, I should NOT be dealing with. 1.) My laptop is telling me, AGAIN that my membership is expiring and to renew 2.) in the profile section, where it shows me my account infor for the Suite, I have the 636_ in front of my info, as well as the name of "Cox Customer" NOT my information, and it will NOT let me change any of it because it keeps telling me my password is wrong, which clearly it wasnt because I can get in here and post, as we ll as get to that point... So.... WTH am I supposed to do, because I REFUSE to uninstall and reinstall ever 30 days or so because something else is screwed up somewhere... Disable NAT on Gigablast modem Hello, .I am having extreme issues with multiple PlayStation 4 devices on the same network, especially when playing the same game. One possible work around I found online was disabling NAT on the modem, however I cannot seem to locate the setting on the interface. Am I missing it? Is it not able to be done? And since, the other system has been getting extremely random speeds when connecting as well now.... Even more so, that it has become more random. It might happen during the game, and it might not. It may happen when I do the trigger, it may not. It may kick me ofline more then once, then not again at all. "Connection to server has been lost" Good morning / afternoon. Am trying to see if anyone else is experiencing the issue I am having, or has experienced it in the past. Basically, what is happening, is at random, when online, specifically in Final Fantasy 14, I randomly get disconnected from the servers. It is only this game, and only on a PS4 Pro. The other PS4's in the house are ok (only 1 other plays, and it has had "other issues, IE speed problems) but plays Black Ops fine, no issues what so ever. I have the 300 MBPS package, with the modem that has the phone integrated in it. I have turned the firewall off completely for the time being (the PC's have their own firewall's) tried both hard wire AND both channels on wireless..... and honestly, its really irritating me. I did NOT have this problem with good ol Century link, I just had utterly horrible Internet period there, but never DCed Any advise would be fantastic....
