Re: Packet Loss, Dropped Connection, Over a year Do you have it directly connected, or are you using wifi, and it also depends on what internet package you have, if it is none of that then you could have some bad cables on the outside of your home, my Stepfathers was doing that and we found out that it was at the pole, the cable was exposed and wet. Re: trying to activate a new mini box, and when calling the number, it asks for a phone number associated with the account. given them every number that could possibly be and nothing I would call cox communications, and speak to the operator, you can usually press 0 and be connected to a human. Disney XD Channel please help? My Disney XD Channel has been messing up for the past 3 days it is annoying, is anyone else having this problem, who do you call or message to let them know, it's not on any other channels, so I don't believe that it is a cox cable, or equipment or TV issue, so calling cox cable would not be any help.? Why have we had so many outages in my area, within a few days? I am just curious why we have been so many outages in my area, for TV, Internet and phone services. And how can I find out why. The customer service representatives, can not answer this question, because when it is an outage in an area, they do not give them any more information than if it was a scheduled outage or unscheduled outage, is there a way to email someone who would know. It never takes very long to get it back up and running again, usually within a couple of hours, but it would just be nice to know why we have had so many within less than a week. Re: Possible to downgrade box? I agree I would check to make sure that your TV video settings are set to the highest quality, that was my Dads problem, and it fixed his issues. When he switched to the contour 2 box, his TV somehow reset itself, it took me a little while to figure it out lol. Hope you get yours fixed soon.
