I currently have three receivers for my home setup (Cisco Explorers). 2 are DVRs and the third is a standard HD receiver. Recently I have been unable to view DVR shows recorded on the bedroom host in the living room (and vice versa). The DVR List button the remote no longer allows me to change the DVR list (to group by host - or show all recorded programs). So the only way I can watch what was recorded in the bedroom is by watching in the bedroom. I have verified that both hosts are "visible" and have zero problems with the recording or watching of the shows other than not being able to stream to the other receivers in the house. This issue began a couple of weeks ago - and if memory serves me, I believe there was an update pushed out to the device during that time. I have reset both boxes multiple times (either by unplugging or using the diagnostic menu) - nothing allows the DVR List to "see" the other hosts. Any other ideas on what I need to do to reenable this functionality we had enjoyed for two years? Thanks

I was looking at your receivers and it looks like the MOCA passwords do not match on one of the hosts. I would like to try a reset from my end, but it would briefly interrupt any scheduled recordings. Let me know when we can attempt this. - Brian

Brian, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you - looks like you went ahead and did the reset - as now I see everything across all boxes. Thank you - no idea how the MOCA passwords would have gotten changed - but with an 8 month old who loves remotes, I suppose anything is possible. Cory

Hi Dale423, I'd like to get more details about the issues you're experiencing. Are you only having the issue of not being able to view multiple DVR lists? Are you able to select and watch titles from each list? Have you received any error codes on the host or client boxes?

No errors. But I used to be able to browse both Dvr list or view them combined. Now I can only see what is on each one individually. They do not appear to "see" each other when I view the Dvr network. The Cisco 8642HDC (2 turner Dvr) sees nothing but itself The Cisco 9865HDC (6 tuner Dvr) sees itself and the receiver we have The Cisco4742HDC (receiver only) sees only the 9685HDC

Dale423, Please unplug all the cable boxes. Wait 2-3 minutes and then plug in the 6 tuner Host box. Once it has loaded, plug in the next host. Continue to plug the boxes back in one at a time from Hosts to Clients. This should get everything talking to each other again. You can also check the settings to confirm the the boxes are set to "visible" on the network.

My issue is exact to the one posted at the beginning of this thread. Worked, and now it doesn't.
