I am trying to activate the ID app on my firestick. I enter the code and then select Cox as my provider then the next screen gives me ...” forbidden and a code. I can’t get past this screen to finish activation.
It’s the ID app. I don’t see where it makes any difference which app it is. If it’s a channel I pay Cox for I should be ale to activate the app. I just get the 403 error and never the login. Therefore I can’t use any of my Cox channels via my Firestick.
Long story short, Cox doesn't want you using a Firestick instead of renting a cable box. Hopefully I am wrong though and something has changed. Becky says it will work and is looking into it. Sorry I side tracked the thread.
I do rent cable boxes and should still have access to the apps. I emailed them as I see they are refusing to answer here. If I get a response I will update!
Well glad to find out I’m not the only person that has been getting these error messages when using my firestick. Would also love an answer to this problem.
You can not log on to TLC, ID, and Discovery. I can watch on my phone or tablets, but when I try to log on with my firestick it gives me the same error.

Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.>
Looks like it may not just be a Firestick or FireOS issue, but a issue with activation in general. See this thread for someone getting the error just trying activate on a web stream. +1 both threads to get moderator attention. Is this a known issue?
