How do I get all of the phone jacks in my house to work using a digital cable phone modem?

Plug the phone wire into the wall phone jack, instead of the phone so it goes phone modem > wall jack. Then plug your phone into another wall jack in the house. It will only work though if all the phone jacks in the house are connected together. Sometimes they are not, so try several jacks. If that doesn't work, you will need a technician, and there "may" be a charge. Depends on the situation.

To add to what Trikein posted on September 13, you want to ensure that the telephone cord that you are connecting from the modem to the wall is plugged into the back of the modem where it is labeled Tel 1/2. Let us know if this helps.
