Increased internet traffic - We've identified a network-impacting event affecting the consistent delivery of service to your home. We know this can be frustrating, but we do appreciate your patience while our teams work to resolve this event.

This is the message that keeps coming up when we sign in to our account.

There have been a few outages in the last couple of weeks during off-hours and peak hours.

The last time we spoke with a CSR, it was supposed to be fixed by March 21, 2023.  And yet, this is still the message that is flagging with a RED marking on our account page:

"Increased internet traffic - We've identified a network-impacting event affecting the consistent delivery of service to your home. We know this can be frustrating, but we do appreciate your patience while our teams work to resolve this event."

When accessing the  Cox "OUTAGE" page, the word "HOME" is substituted with "Your Area", so it's hard to know just what and where the problem may be...

Anyone know what this means in PLAIN ENGLISH?  LOL

thanks

I think "increased internet traffic" is detected congestion on your node while a outage is complete lack of signal down the coaxial or a wide spread issue. What area are you in? I know parts of AZ,OK,CT,and CA are all getting upgrades that should help with this issue.
