Cox Mobile Connect

When trying to set default DVR on iOS 5s phone, I receive an alert " connectivity failure occurred. Please try enabling you device Wi-Fi for internet connectivity and if problem persist, please refer to Mobil Connect "support & Care" feature." I am connected to my home Wi-Fi network on my phone, and "support and Care" offers not solutions. I have deleted and reloaded the "Cox Connect" app and shutdown and restarted my phone without any success. Any solutions, please?

    What kind of DVR do you have? Single unit? Whole home? Contour? Contour 2? 

    If you have Contour 2, then you need to use the Contour 2 app which doesn't have a remote scheduling feature. 

    Last, are you comfortable sharing your public IP? See here to find out what it is. At the very least, it should be IPv4 and show Cox as ISP.
