If you use the Cox.com webmail, you can go to your inbox, then in your browser window click 'File > Save Page As' and save that to your desktop.
Alternatively, you can configure an email client program, like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird, with the Cox email settings and use that.

The instructions provided above are correct, you would have to save a shortcut that's linked to our Webmail page (http://webmail.cox.net) or you would have to use an email program (MS Outlook, Mail, Thunderbird, etc.).
