What DVR model will I get?

I’m a current internet customer looking into adding TV but I’m curious what DVR is used for either record 6 or record 2? For my setup I really only need the record 2 although the extra storage on record 6 might be nice. Is cox using the Cisco 9865 for the record 6 and the 8742 for record 2? If so, an recommendations?

    Is there a difference in rental fees?  If so, it appears the 8742 has an active eSATA port.  If not, go with the higher internal capacity.
