Unable to Pair Bose Sound Bar

Cox technician came to replace the Contour receiver to an issue with a possible "glitch" when an update occurred overnight.  When he attempted to pair my Bose sound bar, the Bose sound bar was NOT on the list for pairing.  Anyone else have this issue?
