Streaming from iPad connected to TV vis HDMI error message connected to an external device.
I want to watch Cox on my large TV in RV connected with HDMI cable. Says can't connected to an external device.

You have a Cox app installed on your iPad...iPad has HDMI port...HDMI port is connected to TV...TV doesn't recognize iPad?
