Hi Rody, do you mean to say that the remote will not allow you to record any material? I'm not sure I understand what you mean by programming HD channels. Can you please elaborate?
Are multiple receivers affected or is this only happening on one receiver? If this is only happening on one receiver, then you may need another Contour 2 remote (especially since the "0" button is not working). The battery life can also impact the performance of the remote.
