I'd hate to lose you as a customer before taking a closer look at what is causing the chronic issues you describe. Are you having this issue on all boxes? If just one is it the host or client boxes? Have you tried rebooting the box to see if that helps?

I've rebooted both boxes. Yes this happens to both host and client box.

I have just started experiencing this. I thought it was just a bad spot on the DVR but then it happened again on a different show. The first one was The Good Doctor and happened within minutes of the start, the 2nd was Mayans and happened near the end. Maybe a recent update started this? Anyone else having this problem?

When this happens, you can sometimes advance frame by frame until you get past the bad spot. It won't fix your issue, but it could allow you to view the remainder of the episode you're watching.
