New Contour app does not allow recording to be set from iphone

The TV menu AND the ability to schedule a home recording from your phone are no longer available on the "Cox" app.  Cox moved the TV menu to the Contour app a few months ago, BUT it appears they did not have the foresight to engineer in the ability to schedule recordings from an iphone using the Contour app.  I have had this discussion with several Cox tech support people.  They acknowledge the issue, are apologetic, and say that a software fix is coming soon.  It is has been months and there has been no fix.  C'mon Cox -- remedy the issue.  This was a very user friendly option that has been lost.  Thanks (I hope)!

    my understanding is that recording scheduling will be coming to the contour app at some future time, but in the meantime you can still schedule dvr recordings from https://www.cox.com/resaccount/tv-service-details.html just open this link up in safari and click on "TV Listings" option -- you'll see the guide and can press the red record button to schedule a recording.
