New cable box won't pause live TV for an hour

When the guy came to repair my cable, he asked if I would switch to another box - they're smaller and work exactly the same.  He NEVER told me I wouldn't be able to pause my live TV for an hour anymore, or I never would have agreed to it.  I used that all the time.  Can I ask to go back to the other box so I can do this again?

    I apologize this was not discussed before the change was made. it sounds like they may have set up you with a wireless box or one that records on our cloud storage. These boxes have less pause time before they start playing again. I believe it's about 30 minutes if I remember correctly. Please contact us privately so we can investigate further.
