Hi Gran2018, I am sorry this has been such a headache during your time of loss. The policy was recently changed to try make things as easy as possible for our customers. If you simply want to disconnect the account, a death certificate is no longer required. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Wow. That would be amazing. What is the process for getting service disconnected? Can I just call in?
