Is there a way to increase the backlight timer on the XR15 remote?
The backlight only stays on for about 1.5 to 2 seconds. Hardly enough time to see what button/s you need to use.

No. While holding the remote, keep your thumb near its Setup key beneath the "7" button. If you tap it, nothing will happen except illuminate the lights. If you hold it for 5 seconds, something will happen. Or, you could just tilt the remote.
