HTTP Status 403 - Request Forbidden. Transaction for verifying Cox on activate.fox.com

I am trying to add Fox Now to my firestick, and when I go to activate.fox.com to put in the activation code from my TV, it then asks me to verify that Cox is my cable provider.  When I do  that, this message pops up.  Anyone know what is going on?

  • Hi Pvaz2000, after you choose Cox as your cable provider, a Cox login page asking for your Cox User ID and password should load. Are you seeing the "HTTP Status 403 - Request Forbidden" page prior to seeing a Cox login page? -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

I am having the same problem. And yes, the HTTP Status 403 is coming up BEFORE the Cox login page. I can’t get past the 403.

Thanks to both Pvaz2000 and Gadgetgirl for reporting this issue. It sounds like a problem with the Cox authentication process for Fox Now. I've forwarded this thread to our app development team for further investigation. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
