I wouldn't really expect you to swap cable boxes, but what's the Contour 1 glitch?

I have Contour 2.  The glitch is my workaround no longer works with my technically deficient box.

    I meant I wouldn't really expect you to swap your Contour 2 for a Contour 1.  But, don’t you just hate it when you come up with a perfectly good workaround to fix a broken box and then the workaround quits working too?

        in reference to the channel issue, this may be an indication of a defective receiver.

        OK, Bruce.  If you wind up having to replace that wacky cable box anyway, now's your chance to swap it for a Contour 1, unless there's something you like about what you have now.

        I suppose Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Scotty probably would have had a Contour 2 (if not for the absence of anything resembling TV, videos or movies on the Enterprise), but that's only because they wouldn't have been able to operate a Contour 1.  "Computer, show me the SyFy channel".
