For the last two weeks (Feb 2020) TV guide time has been EST instead of Pacific time zone, how do I change it back to Pacific time zone.

The time displayed on the Contour guide is 3 hours off.  It is shown in /EST instead of Pacific time.  I live in California and the time is shown 3 hours off. I opened a chat support session, and they attempted to send a code to the boxes and I unplugged/plugged the boxes, but that did not fix it.  I went through every setting on the Contour, and did not see a way to set the time or time-zone.

Is this a hardware issue, and account issue, or a Cox system issue?

How can I fix it?

  • We have heard of a few recent issues where customers that have the wireless cable boxes have been experiencing this issue. The fix has been to reboot the wireless modem (briefly unplug the power) and that should update the cable box information.

    Me too, I'm in Las Vegas.  I thought maybe the time change would have fixed it, but no such luck.

    Same issue here in AZ. Very frustrating. Spent so much time trying to resolve and no one has a solution. They told me a week or so ago that they were working on it and it should be resolved within a few hours. Hahaha. A week later and nothing has been corrected.
