Firestick issues with contour app

The app is supposed to be showing in the Amazon app store, but the Firestick can't see it. I can run it on my phone and from my desktop, but not on the TV. The TV is a Vizio--no goodies--and the Firestick has other issues with subscriptions from Cox. Cox has looked at the whole system, and claims no issues there. Getting help from Amazon is one more modern dream. That's pretty much what I know. Been working on this a while. Maybe time to ditch the Firestick? It's a year old.
