A more commonly reported issue is that a cable box deleted recorded programs. By preventing your programs from being recorded in the first place, Contour created a more efficient issue. 😉
What was your solution when this happened last November?

I never followed up on that recurring issue since it stopped happening the next day.

The very same thing that happened to @Hiphubby123 happened to me a few weeks ago.
The previous day's recordings executed properly, but when I checked my upcoming scheduled recordings I found that they had all been deleted. Rebooting the DVR did not solve the problem. I decided to let the DVR auto-reboot and/or update overnight, and the next day all of my scheduled programs had been restored. I chalked that up to some kind of server glitch.
Additionally, at other times I have also experienced random recordings mysteriously deleted from the DVR hard drive. One or two recordings out of maybe 15 or 20 would just disappear. This has only happened maybe two or three times over a long period of time. The recordings were permanently gone and did not appear in the "Recently Deleted" area. The remaining recordings were unaffected and played back properly. Since these recordings supposedly reside on the DVR's internal hard drive, I don't really know what to make of this.
Just thought I'd throw this information in as additional supporting evidence for any troubleshooting that might be attempted.
