COX is a fraud - they sneak new types of charges on your bill and if you are as busy as i am not looking at every simple bill detail, you will be robbed.   I cancelled my cable and just kept internet 3 years ago.   Returned the boxes and all and my company pays for my internet so i was none the wiser that they never cancelled cable and now that i called them and spoke to 2 representatives - who were useless and kept repeating the same thing over and over - they have billed me over $1500 during a pandemic and not willing to credit the account for the overcharge.   How can big business get away with this?   It's time to change services all together.  Everyone should know the FRAUD cox cable is!   The other Fraud trick they do is call something a bundle to get you in to a lower price and then it expires, and there is no way to know it did and then the jack up the price  knowing they will get you paying without notice.  Has this happened to anyone else.

You returned your Contour box but Cox didn't terminate your cable-TV service?

You should file a complaint at your state Consumer Protection Agency.
