Having the same problem in Phoenix. Worked with both Cox and Apple as Cox thought it might be my IPad that was causing the problem. Because my Ipad was still under warranty, Apple gave me a new IPad. Still the same problem, sound cuts out on random stations. I find I can go to the ToGo channels and get sound, but when I’m in my house using my iPad I lose sound on my regular channels.
Called Cox back after receiving new iPad. I was escalated to the next level of Tech Service after my IPad was swapped out, and a supervisor was going to call me but shockingly (yes, said with total sarcasm) no one has called. I just lose sound on more channels. Since I can’t get Cox to respond, looking like it’s time to move to a new provider.

I have a running ticket with Cox regarding ongoing issues. I simply send in the diagnostic data each time there is an issue. I have sound back now on channel 26 but now channel 12 will not run.

KevinM2... so sad that this sound issue on watchtv.cox.com keeps popping up. I check a few of the previous broken ones, and at 6.30am, thurs, ABC(7) is still no sound and WGN(68) went back to no sound. The SAP slider or s shortcut does bring the sound back to this SoCal market. At least the temp shortcut fix Works!
I understand that channels are different for each market across the country,. What is the basic cause of why the odd behavior to just specific stations and why not all across the board? There must be a bit setting for each station in each of the different markets Why does something that works, now start failing? I do not use this viewing at all, but feel for those that use pads and pc's to view TV...SAD!

ekhawaii, did you ever have any audio or video issues when using Chrome with Adobe Flash Player allowed? Are you still prompted to allow Adobe Flash Player when using Chrome?

CurtB....yes the issue is still on for Chrome and Edge, as well as my default Mozilla. For me in SoCal, 7(ABC) no sound till SAP turned on. If you turn it off, the sound goes out. With 9(KCAL), screen is stuck and when SAP slider or "s", you need to wait till the screen resets first. Must toggle back an forth to get this to work, on all platforms.
For Chrome, and Edge, I still need to Enable Flash. Either by selecting the Lock symbol next to the URL, or selecting an activate box on the screen. Seems to have to do this all the time.
I'm a little tied of this item being not working for many of the users. Since I never use it on any platform, I'm not concerned other that read the forum and go and see if COX has addressed. I've had other channels that showed previous broken that are now OK, like Cnn, TNT, but others go back to fail, like WGN (68). I never get a broadbase explanation from Cox, just the standard open a ticket with an email. How does this benefit all the other readers, if they are going to just address specific emails..I'm not trying to poo-poo Cox, because I use all their 3 products, and get a lot of great mileage from all. I don't want to get on their bad side...but sometimes the answers are a little short.
