Contour does not work on my laptop

It only works on my phone and I DO NOT want to watch TV on my phone.  This is ridiculous. Called in and they tried to get me to upgrade my modem (that I just got like a month and a half ago).  This seems like an issue and it is not good.  I want this resolved because I travel for work and would like to watch my shows.  Cox, make this work!!
