Contour 2 signal blips out for 2 seconds randomly throughout the day. Got this unit yesterday, Nov 1. This is a symptom of....?

yes. the signal is split; one line goes to the cox phone box and another goes to the tv upstairs.
- Hi Slimpickens, since the digital phone modem is reporting timeout errors, it's possible that the splitter needs to be replaced. Cables and splitters can go bad over time, even when they haven't been touched. You can pick up a new splitter at a Cox Solutions Store, Target, Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, etc. If the Contour 2 signal continues to "blip" out after replacing the splitter, I suggest a service call so an on-site technician can further investigate. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
