Channels missing, some noisy

Yesterday afternoon Most of the channels on my various cable boxes were missing - "The signal for this TV channel is temporarily unavailable" (Code 3.1.1.2) - but my internet was still up. The Cox website said there was an problem in my area but that service should be back after 8:00pm.

In the meantime the internet dropped out a few times and an occasional channel would reappear.

This morning the internet is up - for the moment - but I still have a bunch of seemingly random channels out. A few tear or pixelate once in a while.

The web site doesn't say anything about an outage.

This occurs on both the big cable boxes, the mini-boxes and the box with the DVR in it. It is not specific to a particular box.

Any idea what's going on? I'm in Seven Hills, OH

    Hi @ Gliznorph,

    We definitely want you to be able to watch your shows without interruption. You can use the Cox App or the IVR system over the phone to send a reset signal to your box. If it keeps happening after a reset signal then please email us at cox.help@cox.com with your full name and address.
