I replaced my TIVO Bolt with a Tivo Edge today and got the same exact message. I did a factory reset of the Edge and ran through the guided set up. Same problem. I can access the SD channels but not the HD

@SPL, unless TiVo has received the updated program guide from Cox, it will not show up on the TiVo box, even after going through their guided setup.

Ah! I hadn’t realized that Cox had made the formally “low def” channels HI Def! I should have read the information more carefully! I’ve made the required adjustments, and all is well now… thanks!

Tivo guide for HD cox channels in Oceanside is still NOT correct. Some channels, like 8, do not list the same shows that where on 1008. Also, lower number channels still state they are SD when they are HD. Is this issue going to be corrected as I am missing recording of shows.
- LisaH3 years agoModeratorHi Hfish1212. As we are running dual channel numbers any longer, you will need to restart your TIVO and complete a channel scan in order for it to update. If you continue to have issues, please send an email using cox.help@cox.com and we will be glad to help. Thanks, Lisa, Cox Support Forums Moderator.

@eanside, they just did the same thing in the Las Vegas area. I too use their cablecard with with my TiVo boxes. What Cox is not telling you is that by removing the dedicated HD channels, they are now broadcasting ALL channels at 720p! This is a big downgrade. I would have thought they did this to increase bandwidth and maybe even go to 4K on some channels but, apparently, I was wrong!
