my cable box has been randomly rebooting itself. I will be watching tv and then it just restarts and it takes forevvvver

I'm sure the heat and vibrations from your sub will eventually take their toll on your cable box.
Is your sub heavy? You know why? It's all magnet. Heavy magnets may have strong magnetic fields. Strong magnet fields can affect power transformers within a cable box. If you start altering the power phases of transformers, your cable box will constantly reboot and take forevvvver to come online. Move it.
