Netflix billing through Cox is available to qualifying customers who create a new Netflix account through their Contour 2 receiver. If you already have a Netflix account, you are not eligible for Netflix billing through Cox. To determine if you are eligible for Netflix billing through Cox, follow the steps below.
1. On the Cox remote, press Contour.
2. Using the arrow keys, highlight Apps and press Select.
3. From the Contour apps menu, arrow to the Netflix App and press Select. Result: A sign in window displays.
4. Select Sign Up. New Netflix customers are offered a Free Trial membership.
5. Select the plan that works best suits your needs.
6. From the Sign Up window, create a Username and Password, and then press Select.
● If you are NOT presented with the option to enter your credit card information, then the Netflix membership is being billed through Cox.
● If you are presented with the option to enter your credit card information, you are not eligible for Netflix billing through Cox. To start a Netflix membership, a credit card is required. Complete the on-screen prompts to enter your credit card information.
7. Review the Membership details, and when all information is correct, press Start Membership.
