Analog TV filter

Back in 2012 I canceled my COX analog TV.  Do Stop the service a COX technician placed a filter in line with my cable connection located in a curbside utility box.   I have now purchased Contour Flex and the receiver is not able to get any TV channels.  I am assuming that the above mentioned filter needs to be removed!  How can I convey this info to COX with out them charging me $55 for a house call??  Is there anyway I can post pictures??

    Hi Karen

Thank you for a quick response!  We have scheduled service for trap removal on 1.16.18.  We did not know what the part was called so I now can use the right term when the tech arrives tomorrow!!

    Regards Donzi

Tech came today and removed the Analog Trap.  Contour Flex Starter receiver working like a charm!!  Solid as a rock!!  Also internet speed remained about the same, between 110 and 120 Mbps
