I agree. In my opinion, what they should have done is say they were closing email in a year so that would force the user base to switch email providers. I wonder if Yahoo got money for this deal. All I can compare it to is their agreement with McAfee and how bad that is.

Actually, I kinda like the way Cox did this. I have multiple email accounts all used for differing purposes, and it would be a MESS to have to create 9 new ones on another platform and move everything over.

That is until Yahoo gets hacked again and all those accounts are compromised. A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I see your point though. It is easier. My point is it may not be better though.
