I just spent time with Cox Support Chat and they are convinced it's a problem with my iPhone. I changed no settings overnight and my iphone and computer email client (Thunderbird) no longer receive email.
Almost 21 hours now.

So, after talking with 4 Cox techs (no one had the answer) and Apple (they laughed!), I finally got a Cox tech rep that knew what to do. I had deleted my email account on my phone and reestablishing only resulted in an IMAP account. I couldn't get back the POP account I wanted. I had to intentionally mistype the domain (ccox.net) and when it couldn't verify, it allowed me to choose between POP and IMAP. I HATE when people and or businesses assume they know what I want to use.
