All of a sudden my Linux PC has been getting virus warnings, first through an email (from firstname.lastname@example.org) and then my Chrome browser popped up a warning.
This is from the email:
Cox has identified that one or more of the computers in your home may be infected with the Alureon / TDSS Virus.
Since I almost never run Windows (and then only in a virtual machine), I can't figure out why this happened. I've been running the Cox Security Suite on the Windows 7 VM for a while now and it'd never reported any issues. The Linux side, of course, is fine.
