Yes! I live near Northern & 12th Street. Ever since the power went out a couple weeks ago followed by Cox being out, my speed has been slow. Where are you located?
12th ST and Indian School
We have not experienced any recent power outages.
I hope the senior tech can fix this today. This is sad.

A senior tech came out yesterday and replaced the line cox service connected to my house and the utility pole in our alley. He could not find any problems and found my connection is good. I told him we are experiencing intermittent drops and slow upload speeds. He said that the only way to identify packet loss is by having a tech come out to my house and the reps who I spoke with on the phone cannot measure packet loss. This upload speed is still unacceptable. The software I use at work is lagging. It was not lagging when the upload speed was between 8-10 Mpbs. I'm feeling desperate at this point and might go ahead and get gigablast for a month to see how that impacts my upload speed. Perhaps Cox will upgrade me for free this month due to all these problems. I miss Ultimate Internet 300/30!

Oh wow. speed is back after being on the phone with Cox for an hour
This is not fair. The local office won't answer calls although they are open until 2pm. I tried calling several times. I'd like to have my modem replaced.
