I have been with COX for 36 years and my bill is getting out of hand. I spoke with the "Retention person" yesterday and he coud not lower my bill which is $270.
This morning, I was watching TV and VERIZON had an ad for Whole Home wireless. Maybe it is time to switch.
Watch out for Verizon home internet. It is not like FiOS which is Verizon's fiber product. It is cellular based which means inherent latency issues and and lower hypothetical speeds. It's fine if you just browse the web. Watch YouTube and check your email but if you do anything like gaming, zoom, VPN or any real-time application it won't work very well. However, some of that depends on how far you are away from the tower. How many people are using that Tower and interference.YMMV
