Vanished Message

I drafted a message, pressed the send button and it vanished without a trace. No one received it and there is no record of this message in any of the boxes. I am not into conspiracies but someone close to me experienced the same phenomenon.  It just went POOF. Please advise.

    Were you using Webmail, or were you using a mail client on your computer or mobile device?
