soara.org website times out from cox network

My web browsers time out when attempting to connect to the soara.org website using the cox network.  The website works from my smartphones when not connected to the cox network.  This is true for android and apple smartphones.

This website worked from the cox network just a few weeks ago.  Any ideas what might be the problem?

Your insight or help is a appreciated.

  • Yes, I am able to, you are getting blocked after a LINODE.Com router - http://www.linode.com

You can find that info by going to arin.net and inputting the IP address that last responded.

That means your IP address is being blocked after you are off the cox network just prior to getting to the web site SOARA.ORG, it's not that Cox isn't passing your data, it's that you are being blocked outside of Cox's network as I was suspecting.

Cox isn't going to be able to fix this, you are going to need to contact SOARA.ORG, and let them know you are being blocked from accessing their site.

Do a traceroute to the web site and see where everything starts timing out. it MAY be that whoever is hosting the web site is blocking the traffic from Cox.

Hard to believe they are blocking traffic from cox.

Are you able to view soara.org?
