What speed do you get direct to the ont or fiber modem? If that is fast, what speed you get wired to the Cox router? In general, would you consider getting your own router?
I dont know what I get direct to the modem. How would I find that out? I also don't have access to my wifi through the app like I should have. Is that where I would see that info?

There should be a ethernet cord running from the optical network terminal(ONT) to the ethernet port 4(orange) on the Panoramic gateway. First connect a device to the gateway via ethernet and test your speed at speedtest.net. Then unplug the ethernet from port 4 of the gateway and plug it directly into your computer and test again.
As for the wifi, can you explain? How is it not working? Is there some kind of error when you try to log in? What do you need the app for exactly?
