I am having the same problem. When calling Cox and speaking to a tech, the answers they give me are vague. My signal strength has not increased if anything, got worse. There is virtually no instructions on how to verify that the signal is increasing. The cox app shows a strong signal but my iPhone shows it is not connected. The Cox instructional video does not answer any of these questions are a guide.
- KevinM26 years agoFormer ModeratorHi Majiksail, I would recommend setting your channels to automatic, as this will help to ease network congestion and increase performance. I would also suggest unplugging the modem, waiting ten seconds and plugging it back in. Your modem shows it has been online for quite some time.
